Chance Prophet was our very first DAWG Heavyweight Champion.  Chance held the championship an astonishing 385 Days.  Chance won the title in a Four Way Elimination Match, defeating ECW's Little Guido, Ricky Reyes, and CZW's Nick Cage.  Prophet had victories over Sonjay Dutt, Caleb Konley, Manu, and the current NWA World Junior Heavyweight Champion Jason Kincaid.  Prophet lost the title to current champion Damien Wayne in North Carolina on May 14th.  Since being Champion, Chance regained the NWA National Championship (and lost it), won the Ring Warriors Bahamian Championship (also recently lost that title) and is the current Remix Pro Heavyweight Champion as well as the HWA Heavyweight Champion.  Chance was last seen at DAWG at last year's Wrath of Champions as part of the NWA World Heavyweight Championship 8 Man Elimination Match.  Come Back Next Thursday with our next Throw Back Thursday

Shaheem Ali has a big decision to make before September 27th for Dangerous Adrenaline Wrestling Gladiators' Wrath of the Champions: Patriot Games.  Coming down from the office, Marc Cruz is out until at least December.  Shaheem was given the option of forfeiting the DAWG Tag Team Championships or finding a tag team partner to substitute for his ailing friend.  However, Dr. Zirconium put the clause that his choice as a partner had to be a former DAWG Tag Team Champion.   The pool is relatively small to choose from, it'll either be Chris Rockwell or Sam Shields from Midnight Sensations or from the team of AssailANT and Joey Spades. 

AssailANT knows first hand how hard it is to replace tag team chemistry with a mystery partner.  He lost the tag titles to AC ROC when his partner was injured and had to substitute him with Marc Krieger. It is not common knowledge but Marc Cruz ( 1/2 of Dangerous Adrenaline Wrestling Gladiators Tag Team Champions AC ROC ) has been out for months because of Complications from Appendicitis. He will not be able to return to action until December. So right now Shaheem Ali gets to pick his partner as the Modified AC RoC will defend against South Philly's Finest ( Jimmy Konway & Luca Brazzi ). The stipulation though is the Mystery Partner must be a former DAWG Tag Team Champion.
